  • Sabaya Bellydance Collective presents Sahara Nights at Copa in Austin, Texas.

  • Melissa Amira's Carousel Caravan at the Carousel Lounge is a monthly raqs sharqi show features different dancers in the area and, of course, Melissa Amira herself. Performances begin at 8PM and occurs every third Saturday of the month.
  • Desert Passion Middle Eastern Dance Theater occurs every first Saturday of the month from 8 - 10 PM. An $8 donation is much appreciated.
  • The Mirage troupe offers a bellydance showcase at the University of Texas Student Union. In addition to troupe performances, guest performers exhibit their skill on the Mirage stage every other Thursday at 7:30 PM.

  • WMD Productions , where "WMD" stands for World Music and Dance, is the parent company of the Arabic Bazaar and Zein's Dance Studio. Check out the website for information regarding the Arabic Bazaar which offers treasures from Syria, Morocco, and Egypt and Zein's Dance Studio which offers a variety of world dance classes, including bellydance.
